The app
Moins Deux keeps score round after round: a big keypad for entering points, the ×2 penalty applied for you, the live game on your Lock Screen, a proper celebration for the winner and an all-time leaderboard for your table.
No account, no ads, no data collected. The leaderboard and player profiles are part of Moins Deux+, a one-time purchase.
FAQ
How does the ×2 penalty work?
Whoever finishes the round must have strictly the lowest score. If they don’t, and their score is positive, their points are doubled. The app applies it and explains why as you enter the round; the penalty can be turned off when you create a game.
I made a mistake in a round
In the game, tap “…” then “Correct a round”, or tap the round in the history. Totals and standings update right away.
A player joins or leaves mid-game
Tap “…” then “Manage players”. A new player starts with the highest total at the table, so they don’t get an edge. A player who leaves keeps their rounds in the history.
The game doesn’t show on my Lock Screen
Check Settings › Moins Deux › Live Activities. The game shows while a game in progress is open in the app, and goes away when you pause it.
Where are my games saved?
Only on your iPhone. They don’t sync between devices, and deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy.
What is Moins Deux+?
A one-time purchase, no subscription, that unlocks the all-time leaderboard and a profile for every player. Everything else in the app is free. The purchase is shared with your family (Family Sharing).
I got a new iPhone or reinstalled the app
Tap the trophy or Settings › Moins Deux+, then “Restore Purchases”: the purchase comes back with your Apple Account, at no extra cost. Your games themselves are not transferred.
Using the app in French
The app follows your iPhone’s language. To change it for Moins Deux only: Settings › Moins Deux › Language.
